POWERHOUSE CHURCH VIDEO BLOG

Hello All,
Our South Africa team was all about diving into Fellowship with the Powerhouse church community. We cooked, cleaned, played, taught, worshipped, shared, and played some more with these bright eyed kids and after talking to a member of the serve team group Clint Robinson, I too also felt that I was the one who was more touched with humility, praise, and God working on me from the inside out just from being around these kids. Watts serve day

We served as a team together in Watts today. This is a great opportunity to learn about the team dynamic and to make a difference in a local community as well. We partner with Powerhouse Church and Pastor Todd Grant who went on our summer 2010 trip. Some of us helped with Sunday School, some lead worship, some worked in the kitchen, some walked the streets to invite the neighborhood, most of us helped server lunch and everyone had a great day.

Pastor Todd was amazing today. He was talking about boasting and it was heavy on his heart that he caught himself bragging about his education.  He proceeded to open each of his diplomas and tear them in half.  It was very very powerful.  He is an amazing Pastor and we are lucky to serve alongside him in Watts.
