    Psalm 62: 5-8,11-12
"Yes, my soul, finds rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge. One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: “Power belongs to you,God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and,“You reward everyone according to what they have done.”

Praying daily for you team! Find rest, strength, and hope from our Great, Loving God! Love to you all!

  5. I agree with Em. It's great to see pics!

This weekend I was thinking about your past blog entries especially the one that Wood wrote about Aphiwe the other day, and I came across this passage in my devotional book. I just keep thinking about it and feel like I need to share it with all of you. My prayer is that it covers you today and encourages you.

"So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you?

Just this: Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you, obey the commandments and regulations of God that I'm commanding you today—live a good life.

Look around you: Everything you see is God's—the heavens above and beyond, the Earth, and everything on it.

But it was your ancestors who God fell in love with; he picked their children—that's you!—out of all the other peoples.

That's where we are right now.

So cut away the thick calluses from your heart and stop being so willfully hardheaded.

God, your God, is the God of all gods, he's the Master of all masters, a God immense and powerful and awesome.

He doesn't play favorites, takes no bribes, makes sure orphans and widows are treated fairly, takes loving care of foreigners by seeing that they get food and clothing.

You must treat foreigners with the same loving care—remember, you were once foreigners in Egypt.

    Reverently respect God, your God,
serve him, hold tight to him, back up your promises with the authority of his name.

    He's your praise!
    He's your God!

He did all these tremendous, these staggering things that you saw with your own eyes."

    Deut. 10:12-21 (MSG)

  7. Oh My!!! What a treat to get pictures!!! We love you all so much for what you are doing in these childrens lives. Nicole, you have no idea what it did to me to see your picture. I find myself just starring at it. (all the time) Iam so on top of the world. It was hard not hearing from ya for a few days..then we get a double treat, messages from ya and pictures!! It is so wonderful to hear the joy in your emails. Isn't God just WONDERFUL!! You all are so special. :) You are such amazing people. This has been an amazing experience for all of you and I praise you for taking your resources/vacation time and spending it with the Lord.
Nicole, Iam so proud of you sweetie, I survived babysitting the grandchildren, Allison is a "screamer". She screams when she wants something. She fell down the stairs the last day we had her. Go figure. So thankful she is ok. Rudy says hi, Daddy says he loves you and sweetie, I cant wait to hear your voice. Wish I could be there to hug you when you arrive. Shucks!!! I hate living so far away from you. All My Love, Mom
